Crash on Rt. 202 requires extrication

The fire company and Central Bucks Ambulance were dispatched for a report of a car versus tanker truck crash on Rt. 202 near Mechanicsville Road on Friday, May 30 at 10:10 AM. Battalion 79, Jim Shepard, arrived on scene and found a tractor-trailer tanker in the middle of Rt. 202 and a passenger vehicle off the road with 1 occupant trapped. Rescue 19 and Engine 79 arrived, with the rescue crew taking the extrication duties and the engine securing hazards on the roadway. After a door removal, the patient, receiving care from Central Bucks Ambulance personnel, was removed, packaged and transported.
