The Warrington Fire Department was dispatched to a dwelling fire on 2-19-15 on Oak Ave. A one and a half story dwelling with fire in the attic. While Warrington was occupied with fighting the fire, Doylestown Ladder 79 was dispatched to cover their station for any other calls that may come in while Warrington was out. Warrington Command, Chief 29 Mike Bean, requested Ladder 79 to respond to help with overhaul. Crews worked interior to hook ceilings and on the roof, looking for stubborn hot spots throughout the attic area. Crews were in service for an extended period of time and had to deal with air temperature close to zero degrees. ALl members returned safely by 2am. Photos by Jeff Kennedy.
