Big night at the business meeting

 

President Jay Fetterolf, Mayor Ron Strouse and Chief Mike Wood after being sworn into office.

The Doylestown Fire Company’s January meeting is when the officers for the coming year are sworn into office. On Jan. 3, 2018, the new slate took their oath of office and got to work. Doylestown Borough Mayor Ron Strouse, a contributing member of the company as well, Administered the oath of office to the Line and Administrative, Fire Police and Auxiliary officers.

The line and administrative officers for 2018 are-

Chief- Mike Wood

Deputy Chief- Ed Truman

Battalion Chiefs- Jim Shepard and Ed Loux

Captains- Lori Westover and Dan Kline

Lieutenants- Don Talenti and Peter Mills

President- Jay Fetterolf

1st Vice President- Steve Walther

2nd Vice President- Kyle Downs

Treasurer- Tony Montemurro

Asst. Treasurer- Steve Downs

Asst. Recording Secretary- Karen Truman

Financial Secretary- Jay Stough

Asst. Financial Secretary- Bill Cope

Trustees- Larry Browne, Jim Hampton, Jeff Anlauf, Steve Cote, Michele Cevasco and Ray Bosche

In addition to the installation of officers and 3 fire calls, the body was presented with a $9000 donation from the Travis Manion Foundation to support our scholarship program. Robin Fetterolf-Dunckley of Steely and Smith Insurance presented the fire company with a certificate congratulating the company on taking all of the necessary steps for risk prevention and reduction from one of the fire company’s insurers, VFIS.
