Choose Booze and Lose demonstration, C. B. West, May 31, 2006
The annual Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Choose Booze and Lose day at Central Bucks West High School includes a frighteningly realisitc demonstration of a drunk driving accident with fatalities. The fire company contributed to the effort, aimed at getting the message across to students during prom season, by participating in the extrication. Three of the "victims" were pronounced dead at the scene by the participating squads, and one student, one of the drivers, was taken into custody for DUI. The members of the fire company are proud to be part of such an important activity in the community.
