On the 6th anniversary of the
September 11th attacks on America, the Doylestown
Fire Company took part in a remembrance service at
the County Courthouse on Tuesday, September 11th.
The fire company was joined by local politicians,
law enforcement, county employees, fire companies,
and community members to remember the people that
lost their lives on this day six years ago. Those
people that have lost their lives in the war on
terror were also remembered during the ceremony.

Commissioners Jim Cawley, Sandra Miller, and Charley
Martin addressed the gathered.

An American
Flag hangs from Ladder 79 and Tower Ladder 24.

Drew
McPherson, Bill Cope, and Bob Kohler attach the flag
to the aerial ladders.

Despite
being moved under a tent due to rain, many people
gathered to remember those that were lost.
