The fire
company was the sponsor of the kids bike races at
the Univest Grand Prix on Sunday, September 9 2007.
Engine 79-2 was front and center as it was on the
course for the kids races and then guided the field
of professionals to the start/finish line at Court
and Main Streets to kick off the race. In addition
to the race duties, there was a duty crew in station
for the duration of the race standing by at Station
19 because of the numerous traffic detours made it
difficult to get through town, where the annual Arts
Festival was also taking place. Photos by Larry
