On June 12,
2007, The Doylestown Fire Company took E-One Fire
Apparatus out for a test drive. Bob Smith of
Guardian Fire Equipment came to town with 2 trucks
for the company to demo. We had a chance to test out
a straight stick from Limerick and a tower from
Sellersville. Like last month when Pierce brought
their trucks to town, the fire company had a chance
to drive these trucks around and see how they would
work for us in Doylestown. Both trucks were very
nice to drive and showed the company different
options for replacement. Thank you to Sellersville
and Limerick for allowing us to drive their
apparatus for the evening. Photos by Jeff Kennedy,
Denny Loux Sr, and Matt Grogan.
