The
fire prevention unit kicked off fire prevention week
activities at it's annual visit to the Free
Library's Saturday morning story time on September
22. Almost 100 kids and their parents attended the
event, during which kids were treated to readings of
children's fire books by Larry Browne, and Matt and
Paul Cain. They were also surprised by a visit from
Doyle, the fire company's mascot, who helped with
the readings and gave and received lots of hugs from
the kids. After the readings, the rain let up just
long enough for everyone to get a tour of Rescue 19
