On May 12, 2007, the
Doylestown Fire Company went across the river into
New Jersey to perform a live burn session to
complete a 16 hour Garden Style Apartment class.
Instructors from Bucks County met us at the Mercer
County training grounds where the company
participated in 4 different live fire scenarios.
Instructors lit different parts of the building on
fire and placed victims inside to keep the company
on their toes. Everyone came home with some more
experience and knowledge as well as having a good
time working as a team. Many thanks to Cindy Truman
of the Auxiliary for providing lunch. Photos were
taken by Sara Grogan.
