The Doylestown Fire Company
traveled to Kendall Park, NJ on Saturday June 28 to
take part in the Double Wetdown at the Kendall Park
Volunteer Fire Company. One of our own, Nick
Berezansky, moved back to his home state of New
Jersey and joined the Kendall Park Volunteer Fire
Company. We decided to bring some Doylestown to Nick
as he celebrated with his new company the housing of
their new 2006 E-One Pumper and 2007 E-One Ladder.
After a quick parade, we were directed into the wet
zone where we had a chance to wet down the new
apparatus. Of course, we also had a chance to soak
down all the other companies that showed up as well.
After about an hour of stretching hose lines and
getting drenched, we packed the trucks back up and
had lunch provided to us by the Kendall Park
Volunteer Fire Company. Photos by Sara Grogan.

The wetdown
crew from Doylestown included Lacy Miles, Grant
Castor, Matt Grogan, Lt 79 Jeff Kennedy, Jon Arthur,
Mike Suessenguth, Aaron Soldavin, Dan Alexander, and
Tom Goad.
