Battalion 79, Ed Truman arrived on the scene and found a vehicle down and embankment and the driver trapped.

A call for an auto crash on Lower State Road south of Almshouse Road was dispatched on Thursday morning, Dec. 16. On arrival, Battalion 79 Ed Truman reported a car over an embankment and the driver trapped. Rescue 19 and Engine 79 responded, and Battalion 19 Denny Loux Jr. added Rescue 29 to the response. Medic 125 was on scene. After stabilizing the vehicle, which was embedded in mud on a downward angle, the door was cut and patient removed.
