Box 19-6 was dispatched on June 22,
2006 for the report of a building fire
at the 711 on East Butler Ave in New
Britain Borough. BC 79 Paul Kreuter was
first on scene and reported smoke
showing. Engine 19 went interior and
made a quick knockdown of the fire in
the bathroom while Ladder 79's crew went
to the roof to ventilate. Other crews on
scene from Warrington, Chalfont, and
Hilltown. During overhaul, cleaning
chemicals in the bathroom spilled
necessitating the response of the county
Haz-Mat team.
