On Saturday, November 4, 2006,
Doylestown Fire Company was dispatched to Box 79-31
in the area of Rt 313 and Rt 263 for an automobile
extrication. First arriving units reported one car
over an embankment with 1 person heavily entrapped.
Crews worked for over an hour to extricate the
patient from the car. The location of the car and
the terrain the crews were working on made for a
difficult rescue. Additional manpower was provided
by Warwick, Lingohocken, and Midway fire companies
as well. (Photos by Brett Fetterolf, Jenna Fetterolf,
