All Volunteer Stations, 19 & 79, Bucks County, PA

At 9:05am on November 18, 2007, The Doylestown Fire Company was called to assist with a dwelling fire with entrapment at 876 Mustang Road in Warrington. First arriving units from Warrington confirmed a working house fire and immediately went to work trying to locate the victim trapped on the 2nd floor. After quick search of the 2nd floor, members from Warrington had located and removed the victim via a ground ladder. Medic units on scene transported the victim, who was later released, to Doylestown Hospital. Rescue 19 was on the initial dispatch to standby as a Rapid Intervention Team. Ladder 79 was later called in to cover station 29. Companies went in service with hand lines and crews went to the roof to ventilate. No other injuries were reported. Congratulations to an excellent job by the crews from Warrington on the rescue! Photos by Sara Grogan
