Just after midnight on March
21, 2007, Doylestown Fire Company was called to
assist the Plumsteadville Fire Company with a strip
mall fire at 812 North Easton Road in Plumstead
Township in the Papa Johns store. Chief 24 was first
on scene and reported smoke pushing from the roof.
Engine 24 was put in service stretching a line to
the interior on side A with assist from Engine 19.
Ladder 79 went to side C and the crew went to the
roof to vent if needed. The fire was knocked quick
by the first in crew and damage was minimal to the
