At 12:15 PM on Sunday, May 25, a beautiful Sunday Memorial Day afternoon, Box 19-23 was transmitted for a vehicle fire in front of 57 East St. in Doylestown Borough. While responding, police on scene reported a fully involved auto. On arrival of Engine 19-1, Battalion 19 Ed Truman reported a vehicle with an engine compartment fire, and the engine going into service.
