On Sunday Morning, December
21, 2008, the Doylestown Fire Company was alerted to
a dwelling fire at 202 Greene Street in Doylestown
Borough. Ladder 79 was first on scene and confirmed
smoke showing from the second floor of the dwelling.
Chief 19 Denny Loux Jr. went on scene and
established Doylestown Command and had Engine 19
stretch a 2" hand line inside to assist the ladder
crew. Engine 79 and Engine 19-1, along with Rescue
29 (Warrington) as RIT were on hand. Crews were on
scene for an extended time with salvage and
