On May 22nd, 2008, The Doylestown Fire Company was dispatched for a 53' moving trailer on fire on Lois Lane in Buckingham Township. Safety Officer Jim Shepard was first on scene and reported a small smoldering fire inside a box trailer. Chief 19 Denny Loux Jr. told Engine 19 to nose in and lead off with their bumper line. The small amount of fire was knocked back by Engine 19. Engine 79 and 19-1 also on scene for manpower. Photos by Denny Loux Sr.

Chris Morris and Jim Shepard discuss how to empty the truck filled with packing blankets.

The smoldering debris was thrown out and hosed off on the ground.

The inside of the trailer was filled with smoke.

Bill McCool and Doug Tilley watch as the packing blankets are thrown from the truck.

The fire is out, now we check for any hot spots.
