In the early hours of March 6,
2008, the Doylestown Volunteers were dispatched to
an alarm system at the Ooka Japanese restaurant in
Doylestown Borough. The call was quickly upgraded to
a building fire due to reports of smoke coming from
the building. Crews went in service pulling a hand
line off of Engine 19 to attack the fire. The fire
was contained to a wooden table that was later
removed. Ladder 79 was also on scene to assist with
ventilation. Photos by Larry Browne.
