All Volunteer Stations, 19 & 79, Bucks County, PA

At 4:00pm on Monday April 27, 2009, The Doylestown Fire Company was dispatched for a dwelling fire at Sandy Ridge and Iron Hill Roads in Doylestown Township. First arriving units reported a vacant house under construction fully involved. Companies took a defensive approach to the fire using ground and aerial master streams and focused on protecting the exposure buildings. Due to the heat and low humidity, the grass around the dwelling caught on fire and had to be extinguished as well. Local and County Fire Marshals are investigating the fire.
