On July 30, the fire company was dispatched for a dwelling fire at 1426 Ferry Road in New Britain Township. On arrival, it was found that a water line in the basement had ruptured and shorted out the electrical panel in the basement, starting a small fire. Firefighters contained the situation until PECO arrived to de-energize the home. There were no injuries and minor damage. Thanks to Plumsteadville and Dublin Fire Companies and Central Bucks Ambulance for their assistance.

On July 31, the company was dispatched to the area of 625 N. Main St. in Doylestown Borough for a fuel spill. A tank truck containing waste oil had begun to leak, and a large amount of slippery product was leaking down North Main Street. Firefighters, along with Doylestown Borough Public Works and Bucks County Water and Sewer workers, mitigated the spill and hazards in advance of an environmental cleanup company’s arrival.
