Thanks for thinking of us Carolyn!

We want to send out a huge thank you to our newest BFF, Carolyn Quinn, for her efforts in putting together a GoFundMe for the fire company in the wake of the Pancake Breakfast cancellation last month. Carolyn’s efforts raised $1070.55!!! In explaining her effort, she said “You guys have given me some of my favorite Saturdays growing up and I know I’m not the only one. Have a wonderful day!”We miss everyone-and hope to see you all soon!

Cancellation of Old Timers Night

We’re sad to inform you that in light of the ongoing public health emergency the 2020 Doylestown Fire Company No.1 Old Timers Night scheduled for June 3rd has been cancelled.
It is not a decision we take lightly, but with the strong conviction that it is in the best interest of the health and welfare of our Firefighters, Auxiliary members, staff and guests alike, we feel we must take this action.
We look forward to next year’s event in hope that we’ll be able to share memories and stories without the need for social distancing.
Please stay safe and healthy,

April 15, 2013- remembering a fateful day

Seven years ago was a dark day in US history. The Boston Marathon bombing was a shock to us all. But the all-volunteer members of the fire company had a positive outcome that afternoon. A horse was reported stuck in Pine Run Creek in Doylestown Township that afternoon. With the assistance of Point Pleasant Fire Company’s Dive team members, the horse was removed from the creek and reunited with its rider.

Stay home, wash your hands and stay safe.

We’re here and ready.
