The leadership and members of Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 want to let the community they serve to know that in light of the COVID-19 outbreak and resulting precautions that we are ready and able to respond to and handle emergencies on Doylestown and surrounding areas as we have since 1879. We are in contact with all of the local, county and state authorities and making sure that our members follow the proper protocols for their safety and yours.

With  that, on guidance from health authorities, we must restrict access to our stations and apparatus to fire company members and authorized individuals only. Any visits or public activities are now postponed until further notice, as are visits to the firehouses. Our members will do everything they can to be friendly in public areas but will be maintaining a safe distance to assure social distancing.

We will continue to update our channels with pertinent information as this unfolds. We urge everyone to follow the guidance of the health authorities to minimize the spread of the virus, and to wash your hands often and well.
