The fire company was dispatched to a dwelling fire with Chalfont Fire Company on Saturday, July 19 at 10:50 PM. Rescue and Engine 19 responded with Deputy and Battalion 19 to 70 Unami Trail in Chalfont. The fire was in the basement of an end of row townhome. Members assisted in search and ventilation.
On April 15, 2014, the fire company was dispatched to Arbonite Co., 3826 Old Easton Road, Buckingham Twp., for a building fire. First arriving units reported fire and smoke from the roof, Battalion 79, Denny Loux, Jr., arrived and reported the working fire. Engine 19 and Ladder 79, along with Engines 15 and 41 and Tower 24, went to work. The structure was a small enclosure for a compressor on the exterior of a 1 story shop building on the complex. Lines were stretched to knock down the fire and cool off a 55 gallon drum. Companies went to the roof to check for extension and into the interior. The fire was placed under control in 30 minutes. There were no injuries.
On Weds. night, January 18, Doylestown firefighters were dispatched to Chalfont Box 34-6 for a fire in the candle chapel of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. Ladder 79 arrived and went into service with hand lines for a fire that was extending into the ceiling of the chapel. In addition to Chalfont, Dublin, Warrington and Hilltown responded to the fire, which was held to a small area of ceiling and a storage room above adjacent to the main tower. There were no injuries on the cold night.
